Rathscheck slate system
The revolution on the slate roof
The patented system covering, consisting of supporting profiles and water-bearing connecting elements, makes rectangular covering with slate faster, simpler, cheaper and does not require any special slate knowledge.
The type of cladding
The innovative connectors fix each slate stone with two stainless steel hooks and drain any water that may accumulate. A lateral covering of the stones is not necessary and the slate requirement is reduced.
The Rathscheck slate system is a new type of system covering with rectangular stones. The slate covering provides a modern, straight and even covering pattern that is hardly distinguishable from the rectangular double covering.
Metal support profiles in combination with water-bearing connecting elements.
Rafter distance (clear width)
Max. 60 cm
The support profiles are fixed with stainless steel pins, ring shaft, 50 mm long, 2.8 mm diameter.
The slates are fastened by means of the fastening elements integrated clamps.
Via the connecting elements, any rainwater is directed to the slates below. The roofing of the slates has approx. 3 to 6 mm wide butt joint. This way the roof remains rainproof.
The height overlap is between 86-100 mm (no double coverage)

The advantages of the Rathscheck slate system
Slate meets solar
The Rathscheck slate system enables a precisely fitting and visually appealing integration of solar modules into a slate roof. The flush-mountable solar modules are flat, frameless and blend inconspicuously into the structure of the Rathscheck slate system.
